The Rose - And the next bright layer.

The lino block has now been cut quite a bit more to add more detail of the rose feathered edges. I always seem to underestimate how long it takes to cut detail like this, but slow and steady it must be or mistakes will be made...

I did a quick test print of the image without its previous layers and this is what will be applied to the subsequent two layers of the bright version of 'The Rose'.

.....and he result is quite arresting.........
